Life can often throw obstacles our way that we can not control. While we may not be able to control circumstances, we can control how we respond to them. Most people respond with the "Woe is Me" Syndrome (As I affectionately call it) and began to complain and fuss and tell everyone who will listen how Effed up your life is. Well beloveds..that does a few things. 1. Thoughts are Things. What you continue to think about is what you will experience in your life. 2. You are not a victim. Everyone has a story they can complain about. It's time to learn an alternate way of dealing with the stress of life. 3. More times than not.. NO ONE CARES! No one wants to be around a person that is constantly complaining and in a negative state of mind unless they are that way too. Then you feed off of each others negative innergy like parasites. Bouncing it back and forth. It's time to stop this senseless behavior. While we all have a need to vent, it does us no good to constantly repeat the story of what happened to you (Which you attracted anyway even if you don't see it yet). How do we Break this Program of Complaining for Conversation Topics? The 1st thing you can do is to stop complaining. Instead move into a space of gratitude. Start giving thanks to the Creator for what IS GOOD IN YOUR LIFE! It can be simple things that we take for granted like breathing, love, the sun on your face, the ability to read, dance, a roof over your head, musical geniuses like Prince .. I can go on and on. We all have something to be grateful for no matter how hard it may seem to be. This state of gratitude changes your vibration (and mood) immediately. It all starts in the mind. Try this in the moment. When a thought that is not serving you positively ( ie: all senseless complaining and woe is me-izims) enters your mind, counter the thought with a positive one. Example: Bad things always happen to me! :( New Thought: I am right where I should be at all times and I don't attract anything that is not in alignment with my purpose on the planet. I accept what is and find the lesson in every situation. Write out a list of Affirmations. These are powerful reprogramming tools (like the one above) that help us change our subconscious beliefs that many of us had no control over their instillation. We've been programmed since we arrived. Starting with whatever programs our parents passed to us (which were probably passed to them),followed by social interaction, and the media. Affirmations can be simple and to the point. In the moment of "Woe is Me-izims" start to write out the list of things you are grateful for and turn those into affirmations. Then read them daily. For example:I am grateful that I have a safe, warm and secure place to reside. Affirmation: All of my living needs are always met and I sleep in a warm comfortable environment everyday. For this I give thanks. They may be as short or as long as you like! They are yours.. and you don't have to share them unless you want to. Don't forget to read the everyday! Over time, you will begin believing these words.. and that my friends is when the magic begins and you will begin to recognize all of the abundance that is Already right here in front of us waiting for us to claim it. Good luck.. Peace and remember to watch your thoughts, they become your reality!

It has taken too long to write this. I have had a fear that no one wanted to hear what I had to share. But that is a lie I fed myself. There is always someone that my words may resonate with, because we are all connected and share similar experiences, fears and concerns. Fear is something I have dealt with my entire life. As a child I recall being afraid of water. I hated going to swimming lessons and as much as I love the water (being a water sign and all) I hated going under. I somehow thought the water was going to swallow me up if I went under. This fear was never overcome until I faced the ocean one day at 24 and dove in. Trusting that I am of the water and it will not harm me if I let go and do not try to control the situation. As soon as I faced the fear and trusted that God would keep me protected in any and all circumstances, I released the fear and began to float. I floated in the ocean for what felt like hours, enjoying the cleansing benefits of the salt water and the renewing energy from the sun. I was fearful when I left the comfort of my job at IBM, and took a chance on starting a business. And even today, 19 years later, I have squared up toe to toe with fear again, leaving the comfort and familiarity of my business, friends and “home” and traveling to another country to pursue my other dreams. All these things were risky and scary in my eyes, but they have been necessary for me to stay true to my life work. We all have something inside of us that we want to say or do. Something keeps us from acting on it. Normally it’s fear. I now know that fear is just a state of mind. It is not real if I do not give it life. Its human to feal fear. We live in a soceity that thrives on fear and we are saturated in its muddy trenches. But fear is something you may choose to allow to inhibit you, and rob you of the joy of living your life to the fullest; or you can choose to walk past it with the deuces sign in the air, and complete your task. Everyday I wake up I create my day and I express gratitude to God for another day to experience the joy of life. I determine what I want my day to look like & what types of experiences I want to have. Its like having a magic marker and I wake up and draw my day as I see it my mind. The most complex part of the day may simply be deciding what i want to do. As long as I choose to look at the good and find the lesson in ALL situations, the obstacles that I may incur in any given situation are obsolete, because I know I only attract my highest good. For this, I express my gratitude. Even if a situation looks crazy and I may not understand the “why” in that moment, I trust that I am in alignment with my highest good. Whatever it is I know that it is for me and something I attracted into my world. Life is amazing and we are all connected. Our thoughts have power and take form in our lives. If our mind is full of fear and doubt, pessimism and negativity then guess what, that’s what you are going to see in your world. I choose to see the beauty in each day, and keep a positive attitude about all things. Watch your thoughts, they shape your reality. I am here to be transparent and inspire others by being myself and sharing that experience with you. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more from me… here2inspire. Affirmation Today with the publishing of this blog, I release my fear of being “transparent” and I share my knowledge abundantly with gratitude. I choose to inspire by positive action today and all days and so it is… Inspiration can be found in many places. Be certain to pay attention to ALLL of the signs around you. You may have prayed about something, or may be using affirmations to change your life, then you must pay attention to all of the signs around. I just began to re-read the Celestine Prophecy for this very reason. The 1st reminder that I needed to read it again was one of my clients came in and had it sitting inside of her purse. 2nd reminder was a friend of mine called and began speaking to me about how the Celestine Prophecy came into her life. The 3rd reminder that this book had a message for me was I was visiting at another friends home and she had the Celestine Prophecy sitting on her dresser under a stack of books. I immediately recognized the string of coincidences that had been occuring and I was CERTAIN that there is something in the book that I needed to hear NOW. I asked her if she minded me reading the book. She replied "go ahead and take it, It's your book anyway"! LOL. This was hilarious to me but further confirmation that the Universe is in direct alignment with our thoughts. So I finally got the book back and began to read it. The 1st reminder that resonated with me was that I need to continue to always follow your 1st mind. Your 1st mind normally never will steer you wrong. The problem is we doubt our 1st mind. Talk ourselves out of it. Start to follow your 1st mind at all times! It takes practice, but it's worth it every time. I recommend reading the Celestine Prophecy! It may just change your life.Passion: an intense desire or enthusiasm for something. Over the last few days Ive reflected a lot on my business and why it is where it is etc. The thought of passion came up several ways through many different channels. The Universe is always communicating with us, sending us messages and illuminating our paths as we go along! We just have to slow down enough to recognize them. I have been an entrepreneur most of my life (starting at 7)! I opened my 1st Day Spa at the age of 22 and have opened several other businesses since then. Passion has always been the fuel for my fire! If I am not passionate about it, I will not give it my all. I have been blessed to remain passionate about my career because I chose something that made me feel good to earn my income. I did not choose my line of work simply because of what it would pay me or what sort of attention I would gain. I choose things I believe in and that I have tried first hand. This has been the key to my success. What are you passionate about? What makes you happy? If money were no object.. what would you do for free? The answers to these questions will help you find your path. IF you need additional support, I am available as a source of inspiration for you!
